Summary

Kraken Raising is Elk Grove Kraken Water Polo Club’s recreational co-ed program for young athletes born between Jan 1, 2015 and Dec 31, 2017 (ages 9–11). Players must be comfortable swimming in a 25m pool with depths from 3–6 feet. This beginner-friendly program focuses on water safety, swimming skills, basic water polo fundamentals, teamwork, and having fun in a supportive environment.

Description

High-energy, skill-building program for athletes ages 9–11 who are ready to advance beyond beginner-level play. Designed for boys and girls who are confident swimming the length of a 25m pool (3ft–6ft deep), Kraken Raising focuses on developing solid water polo fundamentals in a fun, positive, and supportive team environment. Players will build essential skills such as ball handling, passing, shooting, movement in the water, and basic game awareness, while learning sportsmanship, teamwork, and confidence in the pool.
