11/7 Kraken Elite – Ages 12–14 (3:00 PM – 4:00 PM)

Join the Elk Grove Kraken Water Polo Club for a focused, high-energy Elite session designed specifically for athletes ages 12–14. This training is ideal for players who are committed to improving their skills, game understanding, and overall performance in a positive and challenging environment.

Location: Wackford Aquatic Complex

Who This Session Is For

This Elite practice is intended for motivated youth athletes who:

• Have prior or no water polo experience
• Are ready for a faster-paced, more competitive training environment
• Want to refine their fundamentals and elevate their game

What Athletes Will Work On

During this 60-minute Elite practice, coaches will focus on:

• Advanced Fundamentals: Ball control, passing accuracy, and shooting consistency
• Position-Specific Skills: Perimeter movement, center play, and defensive positioning
• Game Awareness: Offensive spacing, counter-attack strategies, and team communication
• Conditioning: Water polo–specific endurance, leg strength, and quick transitions

What to Bring

• Swimsuit (athletic/competition style recommended)
• Goggles (optional, for warm-up swimming)
• Water bottle (labeled with athlete’s name)
• Towel and change of clothes
• Cap and ball will be provided as needed by the club

Coaching & Safety

All sessions are led by experienced Elk Grove Kraken Water Polo Club coaches who focus on teaching proper technique, building confidence, and promoting sportsmanship. Safety is a top priority, and athletes are supervised at all times while in and around the pool.

How to Participate

This session is open to all eligible athletes in the 12–14 age group, including both current club members and new participants interested in exploring water polo at a higher level.
