Kraken Elite Training Session – Ages 12–14

Join Elk Grove Kraken Water Polo Club for our Kraken Elite session designed for motivated athletes ages 12–14. This focused training opportunity helps developing players sharpen their skills, improve game understanding, and build confidence in the water.

Program: Kraken Elite – Ages 12–14

Who This Session Is For

This session is ideal for:

• Athletes ages 12–14 with prior water polo or strong swim experience
• Players looking to advance beyond basic fundamentals
• Youth preparing for competitive team play and higher-level training

What Athletes Will Work On

Our Kraken Elite sessions emphasize both individual skill development and team concepts, including:

• Ball handling, passing, and shooting mechanics
• Positioning, awareness, and defensive fundamentals
• Counterattack and transition play
• Endurance, leg strength, and in‑water conditioning
• Communication, teamwork, and game decision‑making

Coaching & Environment

Training is led by Elk Grove Kraken Water Polo Club coaches who focus on:

• Age-appropriate instruction and positive reinforcement
• Safe and structured drills that encourage learning and effort
• Building respect, sportsmanship, and confidence in all athletes

What to Bring

• Swimsuit suitable for active water polo play
• Goggles (optional, as needed for warm‑ups)
• Water bottle (labeled with athlete’s name)
• Towel and dry clothes for after practice

Registration & Participation

This session is open to all eligible athletes in the 12–14 age group.

Please ensure your athlete is registered with Elk Grove Kraken Water Polo Club and has any required waivers or forms completed prior to arrival.
